New Restaurant - Galae Thai!!!

If you've been wishing for a full-service Thai and sushi joint in our neighborhood - look no further! Galae Thai just opened at the Hoffman Town Center (next to the AMC Hoffman Theater and Cold Stone/Ted's Montana Grill/Bread and Chocolate) on Swamp Fox Road. In this reviewer's opinion, the sushi here is first-rate! Try the Executive Roll and Spicy Yellowtail.

Another Thai restaurant, Pasura Thai, is on its way to the neighborhood at 2051 Jamieson Ave.

This restaurant has some of the best food I have had. First, let me talk about the decor. It is clean, simple and elegant. Perfect for a dinner date. Now the food.

I have had good Thai and bad Thai. This is great Thai. Unlike most who overpower the flavors of the ingredients with the heat of the spices, Galae has found the perfect balance.

You can taste the flavors of the spices, the ingredients, the texture. The presentation was very clean.

The service was great as well. I was approached several times by different staff to make sure everything was going well. An added plus was that my server noticed my glass of water and refilled it. This was done after she brought me the check, which almost never happens unless you ask for it.

Again, worth it every step of the way.

We only have a few items but found the found to be exceedingly mediocre, especially for the price. Decor was very nice.

I love this restaurant!!! I've been going to Galae Thai for several years now, ever since they opened and I must say unlike other restaurants that service changes over time... this place stays the same in the most hospitable way!

The food is excellent and the sushi bar is a great place to hang out if you wanted to have a drink and sushi if your movie is sold out and you have a few minutes to hours to spare. I tell everyone I meet that the service and decor rocks for an nice intimate dinner as well. Please check this place out... you wont forget it, I Promise
